Our cannabis flower is grown under the Vermont sun, firmly rooted in native Northeast Kingdom soil, using fresh air, water, and locally sourced organic amendments as our only other inputs. We think that it is the way cannabis is meant to be grown, and that you can smell and taste the difference. Our strains do not come from somewhere else, and they do not follow trends. You will not find information about most of them on the internet. Our strains are heirloom varieties that are born, bred, and crafted right here in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont (NEK). A result of years of hard work put in by some of the regions best legacy growers. They have been carefully hunted and selected over many, many growing seasons for early photoperiod flowering, resin and trichome production, nose, effect, zone 3 hardiness, and pest and disease resistance. All of this accumulated hard work has resulted in unique and potent strains that will fully ripen in our short growing season, and are now finally available to anyone in Vermont over the age of 21 at locally-owned independent retailers across the state!
PUDDING HILL CHEESE **SOLD OUT** 2022 HEADIES CUP 1ST PLACE CBD FLOWER

PIGPEN 1ST CUT ** SOLD OUT**
Born from an original pack of seeds from legendary NEK breeder Sherpa Seeds, Pigpen is a cross of OG Kush x (GMO x ogkb). We were lucky enough to get a small pack of regular seeds of this cultivar a few years ago that we grew out that summer. Hidden within the small population of females from that pack was a very early flowering phenotype. Along with early photoperiod flowering, this pheno also produced very thick, frosty, and resinous colas. Luckily, we also kept a healthy pigpen male that summer to breed with. We used it to pollinate the early flowering frosty mom, and were fortunate enough to get many healthy seeds. We grew out a good number of those seeds excitedly the next summer to see what they would produce, and most of them displayed the same positive traits as their mother. We kept some strong, healthy, and vigorous males to breed with again that year, and selected the best females to make seeds with again. It was this generation of seeds that we used as our pigpen crop for market this year. After building upon the years of work put in by Sherpa Seeds, and the selections made from growing it out on our side of the hill, we had about half of our seedlings this year develop early and quickly, with large, frosty, trichome covered colas that were ready for harvest by mid September. This is the first cut. Do not be fooled by the early harvest date, the Pigpen 1st cut packs a punch and it will sneak up on you!

OP KUSH **SOLD OUT**
Not to be confused with the popular "OG Kush" the OP Kush is a unique strain bred here on the farm. The OP Kush is a cross between headband and pigpen. The headband mom used to make this cross had very dense, frosty, and potent flowers. Its only drawback was that it just never quite finished on time for a photoperiod run of sungrown in the NEK, and always wanted more time in October which we just don't get. Despite this flaw, it was still popular enough to gain attention as the 2nd place finisher in the sungrown category in the first ever Headies cup in 2018. In an effort to improve the strain for NEK sungrown production, we dusted a killer mom with some early flowering pigpen pollen, grew out and hunted the seeds, and selected this pheno because it yielded what we were looking for: dense, frosty, and potent nugs from its mom, and early photoperiod flowering from its dad. The OP Kush is our most potent THC strain and we hope to keep it around for years to come.

AFGHANI **SOLD OUT**
This popular sungrown cultivar has been grown in the hills of the NEK for decades and kept alive by legacy growers despite facing years of hardship under draconian government prohibition. It may have originally come from the mountains of Afghanistan, a region that has been cultivating cannabis for thousands of years, however that history has been lost to us at this point in time. We came across this cut at the first ever Vermontijuana seed swap where we met Nick from Forbins Finest for the first time. Nick had this cut available for trade, and having heard of it, but never grown it, we just had to give it a try on our side of the hill. It turned out to be a real winner, and at just over 29% total active cannabinoids, it carries within it the most active cannabinoids of any of our strains. Many people have reached out to tell us that the Afghani is their favorite and provides the most benefit for them medicinally of any of our strains. Find it at retailers before its gone to try it for yourself! And if you miss it, don't worry we will be growing this one again in 2023 for sure!

FORBIDDEN FRUIT
Currently available as pre-rolls through our distribution and wholesale partner Northern Craft Cannabis. This cut of Forbidden Fruit was hunted and selected by a local pillar of the northern VT cannabis industry, passed to us by Forbins at the Vermontijuana seed swap, and included by us this year in our offerings due to its particularly citrus forward and spicy nose. It was bred to be the "all day ipa" of cannabis. However, we let this one ripen the longest in our field this year, and at over 16% THC it has more than enough punch to deliver. It's ok if you put out your pre-roll to save some for later! Look for it as a pre-roll in your local dispensary distributed and co-branded by Northern Craft Cannabis while supplies last!

PIGPEN 2ND CUT
Perhaps our favorite cultivar, the Pigpen 2nd cut is a later flowering phenotype of Sherpa Seeds' "Pigpen" (OG Kush x (GMO x ogkb)) grown from the same heirloom seed stock as the 1st cut. We let the 2nd cut ripen a full two and a half weeks longer than the 1st cut, and it was one of the last cultivars to be taken down in the beginning of October. With generally thicker and greasier buds than the 1st cut, the 2nd cut also displays a bit of color with more purple in the flower and dark orange hairs. It has a deep earthy, musky, and slightly sweet aroma, it is a very smooth smoke with a pleasing and relaxing effect that might leave you forgetting what it was you were doing. We think it is best for evenings and weekends!

PINEAPPLE CREAM **SOLD OUT**
This heavy yielding, uniquely stinky cultivar, was bred by master grower Nick at Forbins Finest and is an all around sungrown winner. We were fortunate enough to get a cut of this directly from Nick at the first ever Vermontijuana seed swap in 2021. We gave it a test run that year under the sun on our side of the hill, and it did not disappoint. It is a trimmers dream with large, uniformly sized buds that have an aroma so strong you may not want to stick your nose straight into the jar. It grows tall with strong, evenly spaced branches allowing each terminal bud to get good sun and really max out on its potentital. It has perhaps the most unique terpene profile we have ever seen, with large amounts of many different common and uncommon terpenes, which give this cut its unique and in your face nose. Expect a slightly energizing effect, uncommon for VT sungrown which generally speaking has a more sedative effect. We think this cultivar is the perfect companion for daytime and keeping you on task, but with such a wide variety of terps you will just have to try some for yourself, and we think you will be glad you did!
